About Mike

Mike grew up all over the country. Traveling with his Dad and Brother, whereever his Dad was needed by the Major Banking Company he worked for... He lived in Alabama, Missouri, California and landed in Texas where he graduated from High School in 1981.

After deciding that college wasn't for him, Mike enlisted in the Air Force. He spent much of his 5 years in Germany... then tried out the civilian world for a few months! BUT, his calling to the Marine Corps was strong and off he went. 15 years later, He officially retired with 20 years of Military Service on 30 April, 2003.

Mike is currently doing the 'Stay at Home Dad' thing... keeping the household running - or wait, maybe it's HIM doing the running! LOL. At any rate, he's there for Keegan everyday, getting him off to school and being there for him when he returns. It works well for us to have Mike home and available for the endless days off that Kindergarten and public school seem to provide!

Mike is LOVING being HOME with his family now that he's officially retired from the Marine Corps... although, I think he secretly longs for those quiet evenings in his barracks room from time to time!
